Fire & Emergency Evacuation
Wherever you are working please be vigilant at all times, and also be aware of the nearest Fire Alarm points, Firefighting Equipment and Fire Exits.  Please make sure that you do not block any Fire Exits with materials or equipment.

If you discover a fire either:

  • Activate the nearest Fire Point
  • Call the RAI Emergency Number +31 (0) 20 549 1234
  • Alert the nearest RAI Security Guard or Emergency response Service (BHV) who are identifiable by their Yellow Vests with BHV on the back

Only ever use the Fire Fighting Equipment if you are confident and competent to do so. Remember, fire fighting equipment should only be used by those trained and employed to do so or as a last resort to aid egress/evacuation.

In the event of a venue evacuation, you will hear the RAI evacuation messages over the venue tannoy. Please follow the instructions given and leave the building by your nearest exit and follow directions given to the designated Assembly Point.

At all times:

  • Stay calm, don’t run, don’t panic – do NOT use elevators/lifts
  • Do assist others that can’t help themselves – but do not compromise your own safety
  • Follow the instructions of Venue/Security staff
  • Do not re-enter the  building until it is declared safe by the RAI Security Staff
