Event Information

Know Before You Go
Please ensure you allow enough time to get to the RAI, enter via G.2 – bring your photo ID everyday you are on-site.

Make your way to the Temp Room and check in with your agency point of contact. Leave your personal belongings in the crew room (bring the minimum onsite, there will be a limited number of lockers). Grab a tea or coffee before you head to your workstation – you have to be in position at least 10 minutes before the start time.

Recommend you allow at least 30 minutes for the above process.

KNOW before you get onsite – where you are working, area, what role you are working, and who is the Zone Lead, Super you are working with. Your Managers will ensure you have everything you need for the area you are working in. They will be your go-to, for any questions, your break timings. You will work to the Assignment that your Agency has sent you.

Training Days
Saturday February 7 and or Sunday February 8 are compulsory.

Dress code
You will be provided with event tops, a fleece to be worn on the event days at the end of your training. Outside Directional Team – you will be given jackets, beanies, gloves and scarves – please ensure you wrap up and wear layers, thermal – the KEY is to keep warm. Comfortable shoes / boots black/brown are permitted as are Trainers – but also need to be black and no logos.

Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas – behind the Auditorium – out of sight of the delegates, ensure that your uniform is not on show whilst smoking. There will not be extra smoking breaks given, only during your designated breaks.

Mobile phones will not be used during working hours, they are to be left in the Temp Room, and only accessed during your break times. Earphones are also NOT permitted while working.

Lunch & Dinner
Breaks, drinks and food only to be taken in the Temp Room.  The Attendee food and beverages are not for you under any circumstances.  You will be fed and watered in the Temp Room only.

All crew and temp staff meals have been designed to cater for vegetarians, vegans, those with gluten intolerances and halal requirements.

Refreshments
Tea and coffee is available in the Temp Room. Please bring in your own water bottle. There will be water points (water cooler stations) positioned throughout the venue and close to or in the Temp Room for you to use.

This year we are hoping to minimise the use of any disposable materials for catering. As such, you will no longer see disposable cups available for drinks. Small quantities of hard cups will be available for hot drinks in case you don’t have a reusable coffee cup, and similar cups will be available if you don’t have a refillable water bottle. However, we urge all crew to bring their own water bottles and reusable coffee cups. Please do not bring plastic bottles to the venue.
